• I didn't work the whole time I was in Los Angeles.  On Friday, I spent the day with my friend Kylie Rey just goofing off.  Kylie is very spontaneous and I am much more the type of person who plans everything out, so in a way,  it is a good balance when we do stuff together. 

  
  

  We decided to go to Universal Citywalk to look around and catch a movie.  The last time I was at Universal Studios in 1989, I don't even think the Citywalk existed.  Kylie said she hadn't been there since 9th grade. 

  
  

  One store that caught my eye was the "Zen Zone".  It's an oxygen bar that also offers an aqua massage.  Their slogan is "revive - relax - replenish".  That sounded really enticing so we gave it a whirl. 

  
  

   

  
  

  Both of us had a choice of four different aromas, each of which was supposed to have a different effect.  Kylie got into "Mango Madness" and I liked "Vanilla Bean".  At first I tried "Chillin", but it just wasn't working.  Neither of us felt any perceptible "high" from breathing in 97% pure oxygen for ten minutes, but who knows, maybe it affected us in ways we didn't understand?  We both agreed the aqua massage wasn't bad.  I thought it felt especially good on my legs and feet.

  
  

  We saw Frank Oz's new movie, Stepford Wives.  I actually had no clue what this movie was about other than it was a remake, but Kylie was really up on it and wanted to see it.  Turns out, I enjoyed it quite a bit!  Kylie liked it too.  Also, OMG - Nicole Kidman looked sooooo good.  Normally, I'm not even a big fan of hers, but in this movie, I thought she looked wonderful.  As I was watching this movie, it occured to me that porn often may be a reflection of the desire of men to turn women into compliant sexual robots.  Hmmmm.

  
  

  Being spontaneous wasn't working so well when it came time to find a place to eat dinner.  For some reason, we found ourselves driving in Beverly Hills.  I knew I was in trouble when I saw a Rolls Royce dealer.  Kylie and I forgot to bring our designer attire, so we agreed it would be best to head back to LA and find a more casual spot.  Kylie mentioned this Chinese place she knew, but it seemed to be located on the dark side of the moon.  After driving in the general direction of this place for an hour, we still didn't seem to be close.  Then she told me, it's "not that good!"  LOL.  Man, after driving so far, I was expecting this place to be something suitable for the Emporer himself.  We reconsidered and decided to eat at The Old Spaghetti Factory instead, which was close.  Dinner was great and Kylie was cute when she tried Spumoni for the first time.

  
  

  On the way home, we passed by the Hustler Hollywood store on Sunset Blvd. and thought it would be fun to explore it.  Neither one of us had been there before.  It's probably the nicest adult store I've ever seen.  It's very clean and well lit.  There's even a cafe and adjacent book store with serious sex and erotica books of all types.  Of course, there are plenty of sexy clothes and fashion accessories and Kylie enjoyed looking at these.  Below is a picture of Kylie perfecting her new Tex-Mex look -- Yipee Kai Yay! 

  
  

  

  
  

  You guys should know that we risked life and limb to bring you that photo.  Hustler strictly prohibits taking any photographs in the store.  In fact, on her website diary page Kylie has another funny photo we took in the Hustler store after we found one of her dvds on the rack.  You can see the angry security guard in the background swooping down on us!

  
  

  Anywayz ... I had a awesome time hanging out with Kylie.  She rocks!
