  • For a change, imma post something very "Xangaish" today.  I normally post this kind of stuff on my anonymous Xanga.

    -= SEVEN DEADLY SINS =-

    ANGER

    1. Who did you last get angry with?:  The moron at the "Dollar-Rent-A-Car" counter.

    2. What is your weapon of choice?:  My mind, but if that fails, it's made by Smith & Wesson.

    3. Would you hit a member of the opposite sex?:  No, unless it was a stranger committing an act of violence.

    4. How about of the same sex?:  I got into fights sometimes when I was younger, but I like to think I've moved beyond that approach to conflict.

    5. Who was the last person who got really angry at you?:  DAC?

    6. What is your pet peeve?:  Fakes, flakes and liars.

    7. Do you keep grudges, or can you let them go easy?:  After some times passes, I try to let them go.

    SLOTH

    1. What is one thing you're supposed to do daily that you have not done in a long time?:  Hmmmm floss?

    2. What is the latest you've ever woken up?:  Oh my.  I'd have to say night time.

    3. Name a person you've been meaning to contact, but haven't?:  People who owe me a lot of $$$.  You know who you are.

    4. What is the last lame excuse you made?:  I missed an important business date and blamed it on upgrading to Windows XP.  Sooooo Bill Gates to the rescue!

    5. Have you ever watched an infomercial all the way through?:  You bet!  Ron Popeil (Ronco) is a god of salesmanship.  I must admit I like all those Time-Life CD collection infomercials (Sounds of the 70's etc.).  The old clips of classic artists are so great.

    6. When was the last time you got a good workout in?:  Too long ago.

    7. How many times did you hit the snooze button on your alarm clock today?  Zero.  I didn't set an alarm, and rarely do unless I have an appointment in the morning.

    GLUTTONY

    1. What is your overpriced yuppie beverage of choice?:  I'm way more likely to purchase a two liter bottle of Sam's Choice soda at Walmart for fifty cents than spend $4.00 on coffee at Starbucks.

    2. Meat eaters: white meat or dark meat?:  I try to avoid meat, but I prefer dark.

    4. Have you ever used a professional diet company?:  No.  Maybe I should!

    5. Do you have an issue with your weight?:  It's more healthy to be slimmer.

    6. Do you prefer sweets, salty foods, or spicy foods?:  Salty snacks are a favorite.

    7. Have you ever looked at a small house pet or child and thought, "LUNCH"?:  Hell no!  My last name is not "Dahmer".

    LUST

    1. How many people have you seen naked (including family)?:  Scores!

    2. How many people have seen YOU naked (including family)?:  Much less!

    3. Have you ever caught yourself staring at the chest/crotch of a member of your gender of choice during a normal conversation?:  Not that I can recall, thankfully.

    4. Have you "done it"?:  Yep.  [Eek!  Was the author of this poll 14?]

    5. What is your favorite body part on a person of your gender of choice?:  Face, butt, breasts in that order.

    6. Have you ever been propositioned by a prostitute?:  No.  Is this good or bad?

    7. Have you ever had to get tested for an STD or pregnancy?:  No on both accounts, especially the latter.

    GREED

    1. How many credit cards do you own?:  A bajillion!  Anyone wanna help pay some of them off?

    2. What's your guilty pleasure store?:  Cosmolink, Catalog 19

    3. If you had $1 million, what would you do with it?:  Buy you a K Car, monkey and fur coat?  Oh wait, that's what the Barenaked Ladies would do.  My own answer is more dull.  Buy a home, pay off debts, use $100k as seed money for Blue Syren and invest the rest in stocks and mutual funds.

    4. Would you rather be rich, or famous?: Rich.

    5. Would you accept a boring job if it meant you would make megabucks?:  Sure.  I could always do exciting things in my spare time.

    6. Have you ever stolen anything?:  When I was younger a few times.  I'm not counting MP3s.  If I never would have purchased all those songs anyway, music companies lost nothing.  Don't believe the hype!

    7. How many MP3s are on your hard drive?:  Many!  But it's wrong to assume all of them are "stolen".  Sheesh, lighten up.

    PRIDE

    1. What's one thing you have done that you're most proud of?:  I reached the level of "Bear" in Cub Scouts.  Ya, I peaked early!

    2. Parents are most proud of?:  Education.

    3. What thing would you like to accomplish in your life?:  Master the piano.

    4. Do you get annoyed by coming in second place?:  Not really.  Winning is not all it's cracked up to be.  Just ask Clay Aiken!

    5. Have you ever entered a contest of skill, knowing you were of much higher skill than all the other competitors?:   Not that I recall.

    6. Have you ever cheated on something to get a higher score?:  Yes, in some higher math classes.  Not sure I got a higher score though!  Thank god it was on a curve.

    7. What did you do today that you're proud of?:  Tried to comfort my mom.

    ENVY

    1. What item (or person) of your friends would you most want to have for your own?:  This is a hard question.  I suppose I would like to have a large home.

    2. Who would you want to go on "Trading Spaces" with?:  I don't even know what "Trading Spaces" is.  I assume a TV show?

    3. If you could be anyone else in the world, who would you be?:  Keiko Matsui.  [See comments for more explaination!]

    4. Have you ever wished you had a physical feature different from your own?:  A six pack!

    5. What inborn trait do you see in others that you wish you had for yourself?: Creativity and Gregarious Personality.

    6. Do you wish you'd come up with this survey?:  Isn't that like asking, "Do I wish I was super bored?"  No.

    7. Finally, what is your favorite deadly sin?:  Hmmm Greed or Envy.

  • Question: "If you could be anyone else in the world, who would you be?"

    Answer:  "Keiko Matsui."

Dude!Is there something you're not telling us? You're not wearing that Kimono again, are you? LOL!

  • Haha -- I picked her because I'd like to be a jazz musician and she is my favorite one.  I think she's very talented and creative, yet her music is accessable to the masses, which is not often the case in jazz.  Her songs are the closest thing to musical poetry I've found.  Beyond her music, she seems to have it all.  Keiko is smart, beautiful, has a great personality and is a sweet person.  Plus, she seems to have great family - a supportive husband and two kids.  The fact that she's female just makes it more impressive.

  • Agreed, she is a special artist.  I've always enjoyed her stuff and she sounds like a very content, almost spiritual person.

  • Unfortunately, I think I have a bigger problem with anger and sloth than the others. But nobody's perfect, right?!
