• FIELD REPORT

  On the set of Digital Daydreams (Part One)
  Los Angeles, California, October 12, 2004

  Tuesday I visited the set of Digital Daydreams, an upcoming feature for Sin City directed by master erotic filmmaker, Francois Clousot.  This shoot was scheduled to take two days, but I only attended one.  The script was loosely based on the futuristic, sci-fi crime thriller Strange Days.

  The location on Tuesday was the "The Entertainium" in Los Angeles, which advertises itself on the net as an adult film studio with "30,000 square feet of changable studio space and parking for over 200 cars."  However, I learned it is primarily rented out to LA Couples -- a kinky, swingers club!  You can just imagine what goes on in the standing sets that include large night club, bar, jail, movie theatre, locker room, gang shower, bedrooms, bathrooms and more.

  Three sex scenes and lots of dialog was filmed.  I missed the first scene, which featured a blond newbie named Giana.  The other two starlets were Latina, but in terms of experience, couldn't be more different.  The first starlet was Dee, a hot Puerto Rican who has been performing in adult movies since 1997. 

   

  The other Latina starlet was Destiny Summers, who described her ethnicity as half Columbian.  Destiny appeared in a few movies recently produced in Florida (where she lives) and this was only her second gig in LA. 

  

  Sometimes everyone's street clothes are more interesting than the costumes.  In this case, Destiny's unusual pants generated a lot of buzz.  Material wise, they were a cross between a fuzzy white towel and something from the set of The Mummy.  She said they were newly purchased and when she saw them in the store, she had to have them.  Here's a close up. 

  

  As cool as those pants were, my personal favorite street clothes item goes to the t-shirt Francois was wearing. 

  

  

  Is that a great shirt or what?  It looks cool, has a double meaning, and makes a peachy political statement at the same time.  In case you want one too, I looked around on the web and found some possible sources:
