The MILF genre in adult entertainment has exploded over the last decade.  Perhaps it's a reaction to the market being flooded with titles featuring barely legal girls, but I think it goes deeper than that.  I believe there is a honest to goodness audience that wants to see mature women acting in porn, not teens.  Not every man out there is interested in, or even lusts after girls barely out of high school.  These guys cannot relate to someone so young and hence are not interested in constructing sexual fantasies around them.  They seek someone more like themselves.  In other words, a person who's been around the block a few times, experienced life's ups and downs and knows the score -- even if their body shows some wear.  This porn viewer is looking for someone with substance.

Of course in the wacky world of adult entertainment, anyone 25 or older is classified as a "MILF", and it don't matter if they children or not.  If you're 25+, you're OLD by porn standards and will be labeled as "mature."  You will also be ineligible for casting in the plethora of series that cater to the guys who are fixated on the barely legal girls. 

On occasion, a truly mature woman comes along and shakes things up.  De'Bella just might be one of those women.  If you haven't heard about her, you soon will.  She's slated to appear on the Maury Povich show this coming Tuesday (July 24th) during July sweeps week.  On the show, De'Bella discusses her decision to become a porn star at age 50.  After the show, she was reportedly swamped by audience members to take pictures and sign autographs.  On top of all this, she's (porn superslut) Jewel De'Nyle's mom!  Yes, you read that right, this is a case of Mom following her daughter into the industry.

And this isn't a case of lightly dipping her toes into the water performing simulated sex for some obscure, dimly lit movie with dodgy angles that will be shown on Cinemax in the wee hours of the morning.  De'Bella jumped into the jizz biz with both feet, shooting gigs for studios that specialize in hardcore gonzo content.  In "Mommy Fucks Best #02" she even performs double penetration!  For those of you not up on porn lingo, it means "one in the pink and one in the stink."  If you still don't get it, read the definition on Urban Dictionary here.  At this time, she's shot dozens of scenes, mostly with men who are approximately half her age.

This afternoon I posted my second podcast interview with Asian adult superstar Lucy Lee! I posted a podcast interview this afternoon with Asian starlet Tia Ling.  It was recorded at the AVN AEE expo in Vegas.  You can listen to the interview online or download the mp3 to your computer.  Running time is about thirty seven minutes.

I just found out about the whole "toy camera" scene out there and it's strangely intriguing to me.  When I speak about "toy cameras", I'm not talking about something from Fisher-Price, I'm speaking of cheap, plastic cameras that shoot real pictures on traditional film.  The owner of toycamera.com puts it best, "They're cheap, maddening, fascinating plastic pieces of crap. Many people hate them, they think they're junk, worthless, a waste of time. But we love them. We can't stop talking about them. We just can't shut up at all. We like the lack of sharpness, we appreciate the light leaks, we find the poor viewfinders amusing."

The paradox is that these cameras can take really terrific photographs in the art sense due to their poor quality.  The pictures exhibit an odd, dreamy quality that is totally unique.  Check out the gallery on toycamera.com and see for yourself! .  Leading toy cameras include the Diana and Holga.  The Holga Wiki entry states that the Holga was intended to be an inexpensive, mass market camera for working class Chinese to record family portraits and events.  This camera was first introduced in 1982.  It has a cheap, fixed focus, plastic lens that suffers from distortion and soft focus.  As noted above, the back of the camera permits light to leak inside as well causing the edges of the photo turn black.  It's amazing to me that such a camera would even make it to the market.  What kind of engineers work at Holga?  Follow this link to see some great photos taken by devoted Holga photographers on Flickr.  Also, don't miss Sara Lovering's amazing Holga work.

Earlier this week Comcast viewers in New Jersey got an unwelcome surprise when an episode of Handy Mandy airing at 9:30 a.m. on the Disney Channel was suddenly switched with an "explicit sexual scene."  Comcast is not saying much about the incident, refusing to disclose how many of it's 1.4 million viewers may have seen the adult programming, the name of the porn flick or the channel it was supposed to air on.  Comcast offers many adult channels in the NJ area including Hot Network, Urban Xtra, Spice, Spice2, Playboy and Hot Choice.  Comcast has represented that they figured out why the adult programming appeared on the Disney Channel, but thus far they have no disclosed the details of the mistake or what steps were being taken to insure it does not happen again.  Apparently, the error was limited to subscribers in New Jersey only. 

In late April Comcast was named in the bottom 10 of a recent customer service poll by MSN-Zogby.  This incident is hardly likely to improve their ratings.  30% of customers polled ranked Comcast's service as "poor."  This tied Bank of America and was exceeded only by Bank of America (40%).  I'm not surprised about the poor showing by Comcast.  Ever try to reach their customer service by phone and get a major run around?

Cable companies ... UGH ... when will they ever get their act together?!

I hope that everyone takes a moment to reflect upon the seriousness of issues such as Global Warming today and do their part in helping our planet. It doesn't have to be something big, even small efforts amount to something huge when multiplied a million times over.

Shocking news!  Olivia Mojica, who very nearly made the America Idol finals in Season Two will be featured in a XXX rated DVD set to be released on May 3rd!  Olivia shot the content in her NYC apartment one month ago with her boyfriend, Adam Roberts.  She struck a distribution deal with Vivid Entertainment. 

In a Vivid press release, Co-chairman Steven Hirsh stated, ""We have a great combination here." 'American Idol' may be the most popular show in the history of television. Olivia is really cute, the sex is really hot and there is much controversy surrounding the show." said Steven Hirsch, co-chairman of Vivid. "If she was in the adult business, she would be an instant superstar."

Ironically, on her original American Idol profile page, she stated that her definition of an American Idol was, "Someone who sets high goals for themselves and who is full of kindness, love, ambition and spunk."  At least that last part of her dream will be fulfilled!
